Broxbourne Crime Report: June 2026 Data Analysis

Total crime in Broxbourne rose to 1,268 incidents in June 2026 from 1,218 in May 2026, with violent crime and anti-social behaviour accounting for over half of recorded incidents.

In June 2026, total recorded crime in the Borough of Broxbourne rose to 1,268 incidents, an increase of 50 from 1,218 reported in May 2026. This increase was driven by high-volume categories, notably violent crime, which increased by 31 incidents to 404 in June 2026 (up from 373 in May), and anti-social behaviour, which increased by 8 incidents to 280 (up from 272 in May). Combined, violent crime and anti-social behaviour totaled 684 incidents, accounting for over half of all recorded crimes in June 2026.

Additional categories recording numerical increases from May 2026 to June 2026 include vehicle crime, which increased by 21 to 98 (from 77); other theft, which increased by 14 to 106 (from 92); robbery, which increased by 6 to 23 (from 17); theft from the person, which increased by 6 to 14 (from 8); criminal damage and arson, which increased by 4 to 69 (from 65); burglary, which increased by 2 to 38 (from 36); and bicycle theft, which increased by 1 to 6 (from 5).

Decreases were recorded in shoplifting, which fell by 32 incidents to 88 in June 2026 (down from 120 in May); other crime, which dropped by 7 to 15 (down from 22); possession of weapons, which decreased by 2 to 7 (down from 9); drugs, which decreased by 1 to 42 (down from 43); and public order, which dropped by 1 to 78 (down from 79).
